Skirmish receives an update with Ascension, featuring its own ranking system and rewards

Riot Games is trying something new to meet the expectations of VALORANT players hungry for more competitive experiences, introducing Skirmish: Ascension.

This evolution of the popular Skirmish mode offers a curated selection of agents with limited abilities, phase-based weapon pools, and a competitive ranking system via the FTW platform, where you can earn in-game rewards.

And that’s not all. You’ll find the familiar 2v2 matchmaking, along with a 1v1 mode for a truly intense competitive experience.

As for the loadouts, weapons will depend on the phase of the match. First, you'll start with pistol rounds featuring the Bandit and the Sheriff; next up, the Guardian and the Bulldog; and for the majority of the match, you’ll be playing with the Vandal and the Phantom.
