Enjoy the T129 to celebrate Turkish Air Forces Day
02/06/2023 - 12:16The Ottoman Empire Air Force was founded on June 1, 1911, and by the end of 1916 numbered 90 aircraft.
Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, paid special attention to his country's Air Force, and his adoptive daughter Sabiha Gökçen became one of the first female pilots of military aircraft. Currently, the Turkish Air Force has more than 50,000 enlisted personnel and more than 500 aircraft.
To commemorate this day, during the event the Turkish T129 ATAK helicopter will be available for purchase by Águilas de Oro. It is a modification of the Italian A129 Mangusta with a more powerful engine, equipped with L-UMTAS and CIRIT missiles. This maneuverable helicopter is also equipped with a thermal camera and a 20mm autocannon capable of destroying ground and air targets. More information here.
