Master of the Ram: experience historic missions and earn rewards this August

Throughout August, Pages of History invites players to relive decisive moments across different battlefronts: from the invasion of the USSR and the liberation of France, to the heroic defense of Kuwait and the triumph of the Royal Air Force. Engage in fierce battles with historically accurate vehicles and unlock exclusive rewards.

From August 1 to August 31, players can take on eight sequential tasks. Completing each task grants a reward trophy, and those who finish them all will receive a unique player icon to mark their achievement.

This month, the spotlight is on Boris Kovzan, a fearless Soviet pilot who joined World War II when Germany invaded the USSR. On June 24, 1941, he downed his first enemy aircraft—and quickly became known for his daring ramming tactics: he brought down four enemy planes by crashing into them, surviving each time.

His final and most famous ram occurred on August 13, 1942, near Staraya Russa. Facing overwhelming enemy forces, Kovzan was gravely injured, losing his right eye. After colliding with an enemy aircraft, he was flung from his cockpit at 6,000 meters. Miraculously, he opened his parachute just before hitting the ground. After ten months in the hospital, he returned to active duty and was honored as a Hero of the Soviet Union in 1943.
