Relive Léo Major’s heroics in October’s Pages of History

29/09/2025 - 11:15

This October, Pages of History invites players to explore key moments of war across theaters ranging from the Netherlands to East Prussia, and from the Philippines to Guadalcanal. Players can use vehicles representing these historic battles and compete for unique rewards while experiencing pivotal wartime events.

From October 1 to 31, participants can complete 8 consecutive tasks. Each completed mission grants a trophy with rewards, and finishing all challenges unlocks a unique player icon.

This month highlights Léo Major, the only Canadian to receive the Distinguished Conduct Medal in multiple wars. He took part in the Normandy Landings, lost an eye during the Battle of Caen, yet remained on the frontlines. During the Battle of the Scheldt, he single-handedly captured 93 German soldiers. His first medal came in 1945 for liberating the Dutch city of Zwolle, forcing German forces to retreat and preventing an Allied bombardment. Six years later, he earned a second medal for capturing strategic hills in the Korean War.

Get ready this month to relive heroic feats and test your battlefield skills while honoring one of Canada’s bravest soldiers. More information here.
