Warfare takes a decisive step forward with the release of Line of Contact, an update that delivers one of the most anticipated additions to the battlefield. The rollout begins with a Closed Beta Test introducing a brand-new infantry game mode, a long-awaited feature that significantly expands tactical depth across battles.
Alongside this debut, the update brings a strong wave of military vehicle additions. Multiple nations receive modern armored units and SAM air defense systems, with highlights such as the Ajax, Terminator and M10 Booker, as well as advanced platforms like Chū-SAM, NASAMS 3 and HQ11, designed to counter aerial threats more effectively. On top of that, three Typhoon variants equipped with AESA radar enter service, pushing high-tier air combat even further.
Historical content also plays a key role. Two Second World War aircraft, the FR-1 Fireball and the unconventional DB-LK, join the lineup, while the B-25 receives a newly updated cockpit across its variants, enhancing immersion. Naval warfare expands as well, with the arrival of massive warships that raise the scale and intensity of sea battles.
Beyond raw content, the update introduces several quality-of-life improvements. The hangar gains new features, ground battle lineups from BR 9.3 and above now include an extra vehicle slot, and the Severe Damage mechanic has been extended to naval battles, reshaping how engagements unfold at sea. To round things out, the winter version of Poland has received a visual overhaul that brings the battlefield to life. Can you keep up as the frontline becomes more complex than ever?
