War Thunder relives the final assault on Berlin in May’s Pages of History

04/05/2026 - 12:05

Historical conflict breathes anew in War Thunder with the Pages of History: To Berlin! event—an experience that transports players to the most pivotal moments of the Second World War.

Throughout the entire month, from May 1st to May 31st, the event places you in various historical theaters: from the heart of Berlin to the sands of Tunisia, and the rugged landscapes of Madagascar and Crete. Each front features combat inspired by real-world battles, where you can deploy vehicles directly linked to these events. This isn't just gaming; it’s a historical reenactment.

One of the most prominent figures featured is Ivan Konev, a key architect of the Soviet advance toward Berlin. His journey—from the desperate defense of Moscow to the liberation of key territories in 1945—provides the vital context needed to understand the sheer magnitude of the clashes represented in this event.

The event structure is built around 8 consecutive tasks, each offering trophy rewards. Completing the entire chain doesn’t just prove your mastery across different scenarios; it also unlocks a unique profile icon.

Events like this reinforce the historical DNA of the game, blending tactical gameplay with real-world context to provide a deeply immersive experience.

With May’s campaign now underway, the front is open and missions are waiting to be claimed.

The question is now clear: when history places you at the center of the conflict, will you rise to the challenge… or will you fall short of the objective? More information here.
