Blink Brings Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe to Life for TennoCon 2026

Warframe is spotlighting Blink as a featured TennoCon 2026 creator, with the award-winning cosplayer returning to bring Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe to life as part of The Devil’s Triad. The new “Blink: Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe” showcase focuses on one of TennoCon 2

Warframe is spotlighting Blink as a featured TennoCon 2026 creator, with the award-winning cosplayer returning to bring Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe to life as part of The Devil’s Triad.

The new “Blink: Vice Regent Grand Carnus Admiral Roathe” showcase focuses on one of TennoCon 2026’s major community-driven highlights: a detailed cosplay recreation of Roathe, the Old War veteran and fan-favorite figure introduced during last year’s The Old Peace update.

Blink previously won the TennoCon 2025 Cosplay Contest with a recreation of Flare Varleon. This year, they return in a different role, both as a featured creator and as a guest judge for the TennoCon 2026 Cosplay Contest on July 10, before meeting fans directly on the showfloor on July 11.

Roathe completes the Devil’s Triad spotlight

The showcase positions Roathe as the final figure in the fan-favorite trio known as The Devil’s Triad.

Warframe’s recent narrative direction has increasingly leaned into personal histories, old wounds and characters shaped by the legacy of the Old War. Roathe fits directly into that space: a dramatic, imposing figure tied to a darker corner of the game’s expanding character web.

Digital Extremes’ official TennoCon creator feature describes Roathe as “the devil himself” and confirms that Blink’s cosplay will be shown in its final version ahead of their TennoCon 2026 appearance. The character is also identified through the broader Devil’s Triad context as Vice Regent Grand Carnus Roathe, connected to the newer Warframe Uriel in the game’s relationship and Protoframe systems.

For fans who followed The Old Peace and the Devil’s Triad reveals, Blink’s project is not just a costume showcase. It is a physical recreation of a character who has already become a point of interest for the community.

Blink returns after winning TennoCon 2025

Blink’s return has extra weight because of their TennoCon 2025 win.

Last year, they impressed the community and judges with a cosplay of Flare Varleon, taking home the Cosplay Contest trophy. Digital Extremes is now bringing them back not as another contestant, but as a featured creator and guest judge.

That shift matters. TennoCon’s cosplay scene has become one of the event’s strongest community traditions, and inviting a previous winner to help judge the next wave of entrants gives the contest a useful sense of continuity. Blink is not only showing what high-level craftsmanship looks like; they are helping recognise it in others.

Their Roathe project also sounds like a deliberate escalation. According to Digital Extremes’ creator feature, Blink has more than 10 years of costume-making experience, dozens of completed projects and multiple awards, and they describe Roathe as a challenge they were excited to take on.

A cosplay built around detail, presence and character identity

Roathe is an especially demanding cosplay subject because the character’s appeal depends on more than silhouette.

Warframe designs are rarely simple. They often combine ornate shapes, strange anatomy, layered materials, ceremonial elements and sci-fi body language that can be difficult to translate into a wearable costume. Roathe adds another layer because his presentation is tied to status, menace and theatricality.

A successful Roathe cosplay therefore needs to do more than copy armor pieces. It needs to communicate presence.

Blink’s reputation for attention to detail makes them a natural fit for that challenge. The trailer and official feature frame the project as a careful recreation of a character with a strong visual identity, not a casual promotional appearance.

That is why this kind of showcase works well for TennoCon. Warframe cosplay sits at the intersection of fan art, fabrication, performance and game design interpretation. The costume becomes a way of testing how effectively a character’s identity can survive outside the screen.

TennoCon 2026 continues to centre community creators

Blink is one of several featured creators appearing around TennoCon 2026.

Digital Extremes’ official creator list includes Hoku Props, Blink, Arborealkey and Plexi Cosplay for Soulframe. That lineup shows how TennoCon continues to treat creators as part of the event’s core identity rather than as side programming.

The timing also reinforces that structure. Blink will judge the Cosplay Contest on July 10, then engage with attendees on July 11, giving fans both a broadcast moment and an in-person opportunity to see the work directly.

For a game like Warframe, that community visibility is important. The title has always relied heavily on player creativity, from Fashion Frame and Captura to Dojo decorating, fan art and cosplay. Featuring creators at TennoCon connects those creative layers back to the main stage.

Roathe’s reveal connects cosplay with Warframe’s evolving lore

The Roathe showcase is also notable because it ties cosplay directly to current Warframe storytelling.

The Devil’s Triad was introduced through The Old Peace, and Digital Extremes has framed TennoCon 2026 around Tau, old wounds and the future of the Origin System. Roathe’s appearance at the event therefore feels less like a nostalgic costume pick and more like a character brought forward from the game’s current narrative arc.

That gives Blink’s cosplay a stronger editorial role. It is not only celebrating an established fan favorite; it is helping keep attention on a storyline and character set that may remain relevant as Warframe moves into its next chapter.

The official teaser does not confirm any new Roathe gameplay details, quest content or release timing. It should be read as a creator and cosplay showcase, not as a patch announcement. But it does add another layer of presence to one of the characters fans will be watching closely during TennoCon.

The Devil’s Triad reaches the TennoCon floor

TennoCon 2026 is already positioned as a major event for Warframe’s future, with TennoLive set to reveal the next chapter of the Origin System and beyond. Blink’s Roathe showcase adds a different kind of anticipation: the chance to see one of the game’s most striking recent characters recreated through high-level cosplay craft.

Blink will appear as a guest judge for the Cosplay Contest on July 10 and meet fans on the showfloor on July 11. Their Roathe cosplay will also be part of the official TennoCon 2026 broadcast presence.

The Devil’s Triad is coming to TennoCon.

And this time, Roathe is stepping out of the game and onto the floor.
