Darkness is on the move once again in the Origin System. On March 25, Warframe will receive the Shadowgrapher standalone update—a patch that breaks the usual "Echoes" cadence and promises to provide a new canvas of possibilities for the Tenno.

Something unsettling stirs within the shadows of the Vesper Relay, and this time, it’s up to you to investigate the secrets that have remained hidden. While it doesn't directly follow the events of The Old Peace, the update introduces new plotlines and threats that deepen the universe's lore.

A new Warframe & a brand-new game mode

Shadowgrapher introduces the 64th Warframe, an inkblot-based addition with a visual and thematic identity rooted in creative and potentially unpredictable combat abilities. This conceptual design suggests unique mechanics that could fundamentally shift how you approach builds and synergies.

Additionally, the update debuts Follie’s Hunt, a new game mode promising specific challenges and objectives distinct from the standard mission types. While full details were unveiled during Devstream 193, the mode is aimed at expanding the variety of endgame activities.

Evolutions, customization, and TennoGen

The update also brings the next mecha-inspired evolution for the odd couple, Gauss and Grendel, bolstering their presence with a more technological and heavy-hitting aesthetic.

On the cosmetic front, new Atagraph customizations are being introduced, expanding customization options for Mods and gear. Joining these is a fresh TennoGencollection, featuring community-created designs that continue to enrich the game's visual flair.

Shadowgrapher isn't just a mid-season stopgap—it’s a standalone expansion boasting its own identity, new systems, and deeper gameplay. Are you ready to step into the shadows of the Vesper Relay and discover what stroke of fate awaits you on March 25?
