The Old Peace update launches December 10 with a massive expansion of Warframe’s story

The countdown is nearly over: The Old Peace arrives in Warframe on December 10, as confirmed during the final Devstream of 2025. This major update marks one of the most ambitious additions to the game, guiding players through repressed memories of the Old War and introducing a sweeping expansion to the Warframe canon.

This new chapter sends players on a deeply emotional and mysterious journey, driven by the continuation of the Cinematic Quest, where long-buried echoes of Tau return in dramatic fashion. The Old Peace also debuts two significant new game modes — The Descendia and The Perita Rebellion — offering fresh challenges and new layers of combat variety.

A highly anticipated highlight is the expansion of the Focus School system, introducing deeper progression paths and more strategic flexibility. Players will also meet the demonic Uriel Warframe, a striking new addition that reshapes combat flow, alongside new Protoframes featuring narrative interactions — including the ability to romance them. The update further adds a new Bayonet weapon class, Voruna Deluxe, and a wide assortment of additional content.

All of this sets the foundation for an even larger, Tau-focused update planned for 2026, promising one of the most defining expansions in Warframe’s future.
