October has become about more than Halloween in the Origin System. The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest is back for 2026, bringing together Digital Extremes, Warframe creators and the wider Tenno community for a month of fundraising streams, community rewards, Twitch Drops, Conquera cosmetics and donation milestones supporting cancer research and patient care. The campaign runs from October 1 through October 31 with an initial community goal of $100,000 CAD.
Previously known as Quest to Conquer Cancer, the annual initiative has grown into one of Warframe’s longest-running charitable traditions. Players can donate directly, support participating streamers, purchase charity merchandise or contribute through selected in-game items, while fundraising milestones unlock rewards for the entire community. Digital Extremes says its partnership with The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation has generated more than $1.3 million CAD since 2020, including more than $313,000 CAD during the 2025 campaign alone.
Seven years of Tenno fundraising continue in 2026
Warframe’s relationship with The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation began in 2020 and has expanded substantially since then. Digital Extremes’ own charity records list $125,000 CAD contributed during the first year, followed by $179,071 in 2021, $191,892 in 2022, $186,882 in 2023, $319,217 in 2024 and $313,128 in 2025. Combined, those campaigns had already generated $1,315,190 CAD before the 2026 event began.
Those totals include both direct community fundraising and contributions from Digital Extremes itself. Last year provides a good example of how the system works. Community donations, Conquera merchandise proceeds, in-game Floof sales and an additional studio contribution combined to push the final 2025 figure beyond $313,000 CAD, more than three times that year’s original $100,000 target.
The 2026 campaign again begins with a $100,000 goal, but the previous results make clear that the milestone represents a target to surpass rather than necessarily the ceiling of the campaign.
Every $10,000 brings another community reward
Digital Extremes has created a ten-stage reward ladder running from $5,000 to $100,000, mixing cosmetic rewards with several items that are considerably more useful for long-term progression. The first milestone at $5,000 unlocks the new Conquera Glyph X and matching Glyph Display featuring Valkyr and Voruna, while $10,000 adds the Conquera Cateura Frame Display and $20,000 unlocks two community-created displays dedicated to the same Warframes.
The rewards become increasingly practical from $30,000 onward. Reaching that milestone activates an opportunity to obtain three built Forma through Tenno United Alerts scheduled for November. At $40,000, the entire Warframe community receives a three-day Double Affinity Weekend, while the $50,000 threshold provides one Warframe Slot and two Weapon Slots.
Further milestones unlock a built Exilus Warframe Adapter at $60,000, two built Exilus Weapon Adapters at $70,000 and an Umbra Forma at $80,000. Cosmetic rewards return for the final stretch, with the Conquera III Ephemera waiting at $90,000 and the new Conquera Cateura Signa serving as the $100,000 reward.
That structure means players who cannot donate directly can still follow the campaign’s progress and participate in the rewards unlocked by everyone contributing collectively.
Twitch Drops change every week
Watching the campaign can also produce rewards throughout October. Participating Warframe and community-creator Twitch streams offer Drops after 30 minutes of viewing with a linked Warframe account, with the available reward pool changing from week to week.
The schedule is divided into five weekly blocks before a finale on October 31. Week 1 runs from October 1 to 4, Week 2 from October 5 to 11, Week 3 from October 12 to 18, Week 4 from October 19 to 25 and Week 5 from October 26 to 30. Players can therefore return across several different periods rather than claiming one reward at the beginning of the month and being finished with the event.
The opening week includes potential Orbiter decorations such as Bombastine, Clem, Harrow and Khora Noggles, while the second week shifts toward Captura Scenes including Basin, Deepmines, Scholar’s Landing and Fabrica Anatomica. Week 3 includes Floofs based on Loid, Marie and the Sprodling, with additional reward pools scheduled later in the month.
The important detail is that Drops must still be manually claimed through Twitch once the required viewing time has been reached. Warframe’s current Twitch Drops system also requires the Twitch and Warframe accounts to be correctly linked before rewards can be delivered.
Community creators become part of the fundraising team
The campaign is not confined to Digital Extremes’ official broadcasts. A rotating schedule of participating Warframe creators will stream throughout October, raising donations through their own channels while simultaneously offering eligible Twitch Drops.
The first days already include creators such as LaurieeeLG, ItsJustToe, Smettbonia, Bugbreach, GreatBardini, Vulcanette and RainbowWaffles alongside official Warframe broadcasts. Additional creators take over during subsequent weeks, allowing different regional and community audiences to contribute through the broadcasters they already follow.
This distributed structure has become one of the defining features of the campaign. Instead of making the event a single charity livestream, Digital Extremes effectively turns the entire month into a network of smaller fundraising broadcasts feeding the same overall total.
That approach also reflects the wider Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest initiative, which describes itself as a gaming and streaming fundraising community rather than a conventional one-day charity event.
Valkyr and Voruna lead this year’s Conquera theme
The 2026 campaign gives Valkyr and Voruna a prominent role throughout its visual identity. Both Warframes appear across the milestone rewards and are represented through new Conquera merchandise, including portable Floof keychains and apparel.
Players can also support the campaign directly inside Warframe by purchasing Valkyr and Voruna Floofs from the in-game Market. Digital Extremes has previously used similar sales targets to trigger additional studio donations, making cosmetic purchases another route through which players can contribute beyond direct fundraising.
Outside the game, the new Conquera merchandise collection includes Voruna and Valkyr Floof keychains, a Voruna zip-up sweater and Valkyr sweatpants combination and a new Conquera Coloring Book. Digital Extremes states that the total net proceeds from Conquera merchandise sales will be donated to The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation at the end of the campaign and will count toward the donation milestones.
The Coloring Book itself contains 29 pages produced by commissioned Warframe community artists and focuses on companions from across the Origin System, continuing the charity campaign’s longstanding habit of involving fan artists directly in its reward and merchandise designs.
CARRYTHEFIRE gives everyone an immediate free reward
Players do not need to wait for a milestone before receiving something connected to the campaign. The permanent promotional code CARRYTHEFIRE unlocks the free Carry The Fire with Sprite Glyph, allowing any player to add the campaign artwork to their profile without making a purchase or donation.
Returning Conquera items from previous campaigns have also been placed back into the in-game Market. Cosmetics including older Conquera Syandanas, Ribbon Attachments, Ephemeras and Glyphs can be purchased for only 1 Credit through the Community Event section until December 31, 2026.
That makes the campaign accessible to newer Warframe players who were not present during earlier years. Conquera has gradually developed its own recognizable visual identity across multiple annual charity events, and bringing old rewards back prevents most of that history from remaining permanently inaccessible.
Digital Extremes is also running a PMCFQ merchandise giveaway with three prize packages containing 1,000 Platinum, Valkyr and Voruna Floof keychains, Conquera clothing and the new Coloring Book.
Tennotober is supporting the same cause
Warframe’s annual community art challenge is also tied into the campaign. Tennotober 2026 runs throughout October, inviting players to create daily illustrations or Captura pieces based on a new collection of prompts.
This year’s challenge asks participants to work primarily with black-and-white, tattoo-inspired designs, although Digital Extremes is encouraging artists to introduce pink or purple into submissions between October 11 and October 17 as a direct acknowledgement of the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest. October 12 receives a particularly campaign-focused prompt.
The connection is appropriate because community-created artwork has become increasingly visible across Conquera rewards themselves. Several of the 2026 milestone items were designed by Warframe community artists, making fan creativity part of both the fundraising presentation and the rewards ultimately distributed to players.
The campaign supports one of the world’s major cancer research centres
The funds raised ultimately support The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation, Canada’s largest cancer charity and the fundraising organization behind Toronto’s Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. The University Health Network describes the Princess Margaret Research Institute as one of the top five cancer research centres in the world, with research spanning areas including cancer biology, immunology, genomics, therapeutic development and clinical investigation.
The Foundation’s current strategy emphasizes three broad priorities — earlier detection, innovative treatments and comprehensive patient support — with the wider objective of changing how cancer is understood, diagnosed and treated. Donations support research and clinical innovation at Princess Margaret while findings and treatment approaches developed there can ultimately influence cancer care beyond the centre itself.
For Digital Extremes, that connection is also local. Both the studio and Princess Margaret are based in Ontario, turning what is now a global Warframe community campaign into a partnership with a major Canadian medical institution.
Last year showed how far beyond the target the community can go
The scale of the previous campaign provides useful context for 2026. Warframe entered October 2025 targeting $100,000 CAD and finished the month above $313,000 CAD.
Direct community donations accounted for a substantial part of that total, but merchandise became equally significant. Digital Extremes reported more than $75,000 CAD in net proceeds from Conquera charity merchandise during the campaign, alongside more than $40,000 generated by merchandise sold before the event began. Reaching the 40,000-unit Protector Stalker Floof target triggered another studio donation, and Digital Extremes added a further $40,000 contribution at the end of the campaign.
The result continued a remarkable run. In 2024, the Warframe community and Digital Extremes raised $319,217 CAD, taking the partnership beyond its first $1 million CAD in cumulative contributions. Another strong October in 2025 pushed that running total above $1.3 million before this year’s fundraiser even began.
October turns cooperation into the real endgame
Warframe normally asks players to optimize builds, chase rare resources and dismantle increasingly dangerous enemies. The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest temporarily redirects that same community mentality toward a completely different objective.
One player can donate. Another can buy charity merchandise. Someone else can watch a creator for Twitch Drops, share the campaign or participate in Tennotober. Those contributions eventually converge on the same progression bar, unlocking rewards for players who may never interact directly with one another.
That structure is part of the reason the partnership has survived for seven consecutive years. Digital Extremes has turned the familiar language of Warframe progression — milestones, cosmetics, community goals and limited events — into the framework for a real-world fundraising campaign without making the rewards the only reason the event exists.
The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Quest 2026 runs through October 31, with streams, rotating Drops and donation milestones continuing throughout the month. Players can also redeem CARRYTHEFIRE at any time for the free campaign Glyph, while returning Conquera cosmetics remain available for 1 Credit through the end of December.
The Origin System will still be filled with enemies throughout October. For this particular Quest, however, the Tenno are all fighting on the same side.
