Tankfest 2026 Brings Historic Armor, Twitch Drops, and Premium Rewards to World of Tanks

23/06/2026 - 07:55

Tankfest week has arrived in World of Tanks. Wargaming is once again working with The Tank Museum in Bovington to celebrate one of the biggest annual events dedicated to historic armored vehicles, combining live displays, official broadcasts, Twitch Drops, special missions, and premium vehicle rewards.

Tankfest 2026 runs from Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28 at The Tank Museum in Bovington, United Kingdom. Across three days, visitors will be able to watch historic and modern armor in action, explore themed activities, visit Living History encampments, and experience one of the world’s largest collections of tanks and armored vehicles.

For players unable to attend in person, World of Tanks has prepared a full digital program. Official Tankfest streams will feature guaranteed Drops, Mystery Drops, and Tokens that can be exchanged for Premium vehicles through the event’s dedicated Token Store.

Tankfest returns to Bovington with three days of historic armor in motion

Tankfest has become one of the most important annual celebrations of armored vehicle history.

The event brings together vehicles from The Tank Museum’s own collection, guest vehicles from other collections, and armor from the British Army. Unlike a conventional museum visit, Tankfest is built around seeing those machines operating in the arena, supported by expert commentary, history-focused activities, and access to the museum itself.

The 2026 edition follows that same formula. The site will be open from 08:30 to 18:00 each day, while the arena program will feature historic and modern armor in motion across Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

The Tank Museum has already highlighted several star vehicles for the event, including the FV4005, the Leopard AS1, and the M4A2E8 Sherman Fury. The latter is especially recognisable because of its connection to the film Fury, but all three underline the wider appeal of Tankfest: the event is not only about viewing vehicles, but seeing them operate in the environment they were built for.

For World of Tanks, Tankfest remains a natural partnership. It connects the game’s community with the real machines, stories, and military history that have shaped its battlefield identity for years.

Twitch Drops and Tankfest Tokens reward viewers throughout the weekend

Players following the event from home can earn rewards by watching official World of Tanks streams on Twitch.

Drops will be active each day from June 26 to June 28, between 13:00 and 18:00 CEST. The reward pool includes guaranteed Drops, Mystery Drops, and Tokens for the Tankfest Token Store.

The Tokens are especially important. Players who collect three Tokens can choose one of three Premium vehicles: the M4A3E8 Thunderbolt VII, the Cromwell B, or the TOG II*. The Token Store closes on July 6 at 09:00 UTC, so any unused Tokens must be spent before that deadline.

Wargaming has also confirmed that viewers need to connect their Wargaming.net and Twitch accounts, claim their Drops through Twitch, and log in to World of Tanks before July 6 at 11:00 CEST for the rewards to appear in-game. Duplicate vehicles and 3D styles will be compensated with credits equal to half their value.

This gives Tankfest a strong progression loop for viewers. Watching one stream can provide a useful reward, but following multiple days gives players more opportunities to earn Tokens, Mystery Drops, and premium content.

The main historical stream takes place on Sunday, June 28

The highlight of Tankfest 2026’s online schedule will be the Tankfest Online 2026 Historical Stream.

The broadcast begins on Sunday, June 28 at 14:00 CEST and will feature Richard Cutland, David Baggley, and Nik Wyness. The show will focus on historic armor displays from Bovington, expert-led coverage, special content from the event, and the kind of behind-the-scenes perspective that makes Tankfest more than a standard vehicle showcase.

Twitch Drops begin an hour earlier, at 13:00 CEST, with live World of Tanks content before the historical show starts. That gives players a full additional hour to begin collecting rewards before the main Tankfest broadcast goes live.

Wargaming is positioning the Sunday stream as the biggest digital moment of the weekend, and it is easy to see why. Historic tanks in motion, access to museum experts, live commentary, and in-game rewards create an event designed for both World of Tanks players and military history fans.

Sunday will also include extra Mystery Drops, making it the most important day for viewers hoping to maximise their Tankfest rewards.

Road to Tankfest missions bring the celebration into the game

Tankfest is not only happening on Twitch or at Bovington.

World of Tanks is also running Tankfest missions with rewards that culminate in the Tier VI Tiger 131, one of the game’s best-known Premium heavy tanks and one of the most famous vehicles in The Tank Museum’s collection.

A special catch-up mission will be available from June 28 at 09:00 UTC through June 29 at 09:00 UTC, giving players who have not completed the main mission path a final opportunity to earn the ultimate reward.

The event also includes weekend discounts on vehicles, consumables, and equipment, alongside x5 XP for the first victory of the day. The discounts apply to selected Tech Tree vehicles, Premium vehicles, consumables, and equipment, creating a useful window for players who want to upgrade their Garage while the event is active.

That combination makes Tankfest week valuable even for players who are not focused on the streams. You can complete missions, take advantage of discounts, and then use Twitch Drops to add even more rewards to the account.

Tankfest 2026 turns armored history into a full community celebration

Tankfest 2026 shows why the partnership between World of Tanks and The Tank Museum remains such a strong fit.

The physical event brings some of the world’s most impressive historic armored vehicles together in a format built around live action. The digital side makes that experience accessible to the wider World of Tanks community through streams, missions, discounts, Tokens, and Premium rewards.

Sunday, June 28 will be the main moment to watch, but the Tankfest activity begins well before then. Between Road to Tankfest missions, daily Drops, Token rewards, premium vehicle options, and special offers, there are plenty of reasons to stay involved throughout the week.

Even if you cannot make it to Bovington, Tankfest is still coming to your Garage.
