World of Tanks enables pre-download for Update 2.2

Update 2.2 is just around the corner, and you can now pre-download the update package to ensure everything is ready the moment it officially goes live. If you don't want to miss a single minute on launch day, now is the time to prepare your client.

The patch introduces new Crew perks, an improved version of the Armor Inspector, and several other features designed to further polish the game’s core systems. To avoid server congestion or long wait times, Wargaming is allowing players to install the files in advance via the Wargaming.net Game Center.

The download size will be 662.74 MB for the SD version and 788.3 MB for the HD version, so make sure you have enough disk space before starting. Enabling it is simple: just check the 'Download updates in advance' box in the Wargaming.net Game Center settings and click Save to apply the changes.

This option allows the client to automatically download all necessary files before the official release. When launch day arrives, you’ll be able to head straight to the Garage and test the new features without delay. Will you wait for the servers to crowd, or will you be combat-ready from minute one?

Additionally, players can visit the dedicated page within the WGC to review FAQs and all technical details regarding the pre-load process.
