Lust for Darkness

Lust for Darkness is a horror game for adults with first person perspective.

The game is set in a universe of cosmic terror inspired by the worlds of Howard Phillips Lovecraft. The art of the game is quite solvent in terms of design, reminding us at times to the designs of the genius Hans Ruedi Giger (H.R. Giger).

The game is presented as a conversation adventure in which we embody a man who desperately seeks his wife from his last known location, a mansion, home of a strange sexual sect that seeks contact with ancient gods and access to strange worlds through the path of ecstasy.

An unusual theme that must be appreciated, although the formulas used to introduce us to this world are rather limited and too squared in their narrative methods and their overly traditional mechanics. A game with such an interesting premise would have been better with original and fresh mechanics that accompany the player on his trip into that wicked and fascinating world.

Even so, the atmosphere and the mystery that the game deploy are enough reasons to give a try to this title. You can get a free demo on Steam.
