The universe of MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice continues to grow, and it is doing so by bringing back one of the most significant characters in the history of the manga and anime. Bandai Namco has officially released the new trailer for Nana Shimura, confirming her arrival as a DLC character and reinforcing the game’s focus on key figures from the One For All legacy.
While her presence in the original work was always defined by a strong narrative and symbolic weight, this marks one of the few occasions where fans can directly control Nana Shimura in a combat-based video game within the franchise. Her addition not only expands the playable roster but also connects directly to some of the most important moments in the My Hero Academia lore.
The trailer showcases Nana utilizing an extremely agile fighting style, featuring rapid movements, aerial attacks, and techniques that seem to focus on constant mobility and offensive pressure. Everything suggests the character is designed for players who prefer a high-tempo pace during encounters, utilizing quick dashes and dynamic combos to dominate the fight.
Bandai Namco also seems to have paid special attention to respecting the character’s visual identity. The animations, effects, and poses are direct callbacks to scenes from the anime—a particularly crucial detail in a franchise where the visual impact of Quirks is an essential part of the experience.
The arrival of Nana Shimura also carries considerable emotional weight for fans of the series. As a former wielder of One For All and the mentor of Toshinori Yagi—the legendary All Might—she represents one of the fundamental pillars in the development of the most iconic hero in the universe created by Kohei Horikoshi.
In terms of content, this DLC confirms the developers' intention to keep expanding MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice through characters linked to both the main storyline and the franchise's historical legacy. This strategy allows for a balance between popular faces and figures that have been less explored in previous games of the saga.
The community had been asking for a while for characters with more narrative relevance rather than those focused solely on immediate popularity, and Nana Shimura fits that demand perfectly. Her inclusion brings gameplay variety while also adding context and depth to the title's roster.
It remains to be seen which other heroes or villains will eventually arrive in future updates. However, with the addition of Nana Shimura, MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice makes it clear that it aims to build a lineup capable of representing different generations of the series' heroic universe.
