DayZ is an open-world game of extreme survival where there’s only one rule: survive at all costs. And it won’t be easy, because countless threats await you around every corner...

Characteristics:

There are no checkpoints or save points, so if you kick the bucket, you lose everything and you have to start over from zero.

Complex and realistic survival mechanics, for example hunting, crafting, building, health, and resource management.

Unpredictable interactions with other players that provide an unlimited range of gameplay possibilities.

A huge map of 90 mi2 with varied and beautiful landscapes and real world-inspired locations.

Up to 60 players fight to survive at all costs. Make friends, kill without thinking, kidnap strangers and subdue them, or be betrayed over a can of beans. Anything is possible!

Environmental threats that will put you to the test. From highly variable weather to dangerous animals, passing through the dark of night, and the rabid infected.
