Return of the Unrelenting Hordes in Warhammer 40,000: Darktide

The Unrelenting Hordes special event returns to Warhammer 40,000: Darktide! A platoon of Moebian 21st soldiers has been infected by the Blight, making them even tougher to deal with than the usual hordes. We thought we had stopped this mess after that trouble at the cathedral… well, you know what to do. Take on missions with the special condition “Infected Moebian 21st”, collect Grimoires or Scriptures as a team, and unlock exclusive rewards. This condition will only be available during the event and will appear on both the Standard and Auric mission terminals, with progress shared across all strike team members. The event kicks off on Thursday, February 20, 2025, and the rewards include Ordo Dockets, Plasteel, and Diamantine.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide Special Event "Cry Havoc!" Now Live

The Cry Havoc event is live from December 3 to January 7. To celebrate the second anniversary of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide and the free Grim Protocols update, players can complete Havoc Missions to earn crafting materials like dockets, plasteel, and diamantine, as well as a unique weapon trinket. The Orthus Offensive is now available

The Orthus Offensive is now available in the game! The ambushes by Wolfer's top lieutenants have now ceased. Reports have come in that the Karnak twins have been seen in the Torrent. You can find this new type of mission on the mission board, under “special assignment”. It's time to fight them.

Discover all the news of patch #13

Old feats have now been replaced with new talent trees! Instead of unlocking a new row of feats every 5 levels, you will now receive one talent point for each level reached, up to a maximum of 30 points at level 30. Spending and removing points in trees is free, so don't hesitate and try everything you want. Each class will start with a basic ability, a blitz and an aura, and in the trees, you will find options to improve them or replace them with new ones. For some classes, this means that the strength of basic abilities has also been reduced and you will instead be able to regain lost power further down the trees. Patch #13 brings us a rework of the class and feat system

On October 4 of this year, a new patch will be released that will revise the different class and feat systems, introducing talent trees. Each class will have 1 talent tree with 3 main paths. Each path will feature many nodes and various additional abilities, allowing players to modify their playstyle and create different builds for their characters. Ogryn: Skullbreaker | Class Spotlight

The Ogryns are abhumans, a subspecies of humanity considered useful enough to protect them from the penalty of the purge. Stronger and tougher than ordinary humans, Ogrines excel at work that requires more muscle or indifference to pain, and often serve as manufactorum workers... or, in the Astra Militarum, as shock troops and bodyguards, using their muscular bodies to protect their comrades and their immense strength to crush their enemies. To date, only male Ogryns have been seen on the battlefields of the Moebian Domain. If an inquisitive soul is brave (or stupid) enough to ask an Ogryn about such matters, it would be a problem as they would receive an annoyed growl in response or a massive punch to the face. They are, for the most part, loyal and resourceful, thriving on simple, direct commands. Any nuance is likely to be ignored or reduced to a brief and joyous act of violence... More information here.
