Empyrion combines elements of space simulations, building games, survival games and ego-shooters in a unique way. In Empyrion, you can forge your destiny in a galaxy with endless possibilities!

• Space and planetary exploration:

An absolutely free roaming experience awaits you: travel between planets, fly from planet to moon, land on planets and walk freely to explore your surroundings. Discover the secrets of different alien races and face the native fauna and flora. A Sandbox full of different vivid planets is waiting for you!

• Solar system and open world:

The solar system is procedurally generated and features various planets and points of interest. Each planet has its own characteristics (planet type, gravity, atmosphere, number of moons, terrain, surface, vegetation, climate, and resources).

• Construction and building:

Build large spaceships, small fighters or powerful space stations and vast planetary settlements.

• Survival mode:

Get out of your capsule, gather what's left of your spaceship and prepare to survive in a hostile environment. Food and oxygen are scarce, there are almost no resources, ammunition is hardly to be found, and dangers lurk around every corner. Keep your eyes open. You must be smart and well prepared if you want to survive more than one day on an alien planet far from Earth.

• Creative mode:

Just build and make your wildest dreams come true without having to worry about food, resources or enemies.

• Wildlife and enemies:

Don't be fooled by the peaceful animal fauna of some planets and the silence in space. Most of the wild animals want to eat you and the aggressive robot drones, alien soldiers and their guardians will try to hunt you down as soon as you are in sight. Fight for your life and deploy a variety of weapons against ferocious and dark alien creatures.

• Mining and gathering resources:

For building and construction you need to collect and mine resources. Dig down to a planet's rich deposits or drill into a mineral-filled asteroid. You can also loot alien buildings or scrap any structures you come across.

• Hunting, livestock and food system:

Grow your own vegetables and fruits or hunt creatures for their meat to prepare a delicious meal for yourself. Some plants help create medical supplies, while others can be gathered and consumed for first aid.

• Experience and Tech Tree:

Do what you want and earn experience points for doing it! Throw away old stuff and use the points to unlock new gadgets.

• Ground deformation:

Each planet features voxel based terrain. You can completely modify and deform the terrain: flatten it for your planetary station, dig holes to find resources, or build a tunnel system to protect yourself. Empyrion is a true Sandbox!
